Well-ity well-ity well-ity. It looks as though I will soon have a bit of time on my hands. And it's come at a time that I need it most. My brain hasn't been functioning at a rate I'm used to because of the "going along to get along" that I've been doing at my job. My last day is on the 26th of this month. I've saved some money that was intended for a nice trip to Mexico when my Seasonal Affectation Disorder is making me a real cunt. But, I will take a forced month off instead. I've gotten a few offers that I had to turn down, so I'm confident I can find something after my break. I need this time to myself to paint and finish other projects that I've only been "planning" instead of doing. And I'd like to write here more as well.

Eric has a book entitled "The Amorous Drawings of the Marquis von Bayros." Extremely pornographic and shocking, these intensely beautiful images are drawn so well. I would almost tattoo them to my body if it weren't for all the phallus, bestiality and child sex.

It's an old book he got at a sale from the Newberry Library. And I can certainly understand why they might have wanted to sell it away. The images above aren't even my favorite ones. These are just some I found on the web. I think my favorite one by far is of a naked rear view of a woman who cut off the head of her lover, and is placing her breast in his mouth. You can see his decapitated body in the background. Oh there's a peacock with her as well.

I don't like pornographic art just because it's taboo or one may become stimulated by it. These images are drawn with such a delicate precision that I admire and am drawn to.
